Information we collect

• Account details, including email address, user ID, and authentication information.
• Audio recordings, transcripts, business profiles, prompts, saved sessions, and other content you provide.
• Purchase and subscription status supplied by Apple.
• Device identifiers, product interactions, app usage, crash reports, and other diagnostic information.
• Messages and information you send when requesting support.

How we collect information

• Directly from you when you create an account, complete a business profile, record a session, enter text, save content, or contact support.
• Automatically from the app and its service-provider software when you use features or when an error occurs, including device identifiers, product interactions, app usage, crash reports, and diagnostics.
• From Apple when it provides purchase, subscription, and transaction status needed to provide paid features.

How we use information

• Provide recording, transcription, AI analysis, personalization, history, and account features.
• Process subscriptions, enforce usage limits, restore purchases, and prevent fraud or abuse.
• Analyze feature usage and operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve Voice2Venture.
• Respond to support requests and send essential account or service communications.

Voice2Venture does not sell personal information and does not use your data for cross-app advertising tracking. AI-generated output may be incomplete or inaccurate; important business decisions should be independently validated.

Third-party AI processing and your permission

Voice2Venture asks for your permission in the app before sending your content to the third-party AI service providers described below. Until you choose Allow AI Processing, we do not send your recorded audio, transcript, or business profile and context to Deepgram or OpenAI. You can decline or later revoke this permission under You → Privacy & Data. If you decline or revoke permission, AI-powered recording, transcription, and analysis features are unavailable.

• Deepgram: receives audio from sessions you choose to record and processes it to create transcript text.
• OpenAI: receives transcript text and business context you provide, including venture descriptions, market or interest information, goals, budget, constraints, preferences, and optional notes. OpenAI processes this text to generate Business Sparks, Venture Paths, and related AI-assisted writing.

Voice2Venture does not send your password, email address, or Apple payment details to Deepgram or OpenAI for these features, and raw audio is not sent to OpenAI. Data is transmitted through Voice2Venture’s hosted service. We use these companies as service providers. We require every third party that receives personal information from us to provide the same or equal protection for that information as the protections described in this policy, including appropriate privacy, confidentiality, and security safeguards.

Service providers and international processing

We use service providers to operate the app, including Apple for authentication and purchases, Supabase for authentication and data storage, Deepgram for transcription, OpenAI for AI processing, PostHog for product analytics, Resend for service email, and Vercel for hosting. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy commitments. Information may be processed outside your province, state, or country.

Retention and deletion

We retain information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the service. You can delete your account in Voice2Venture under You → Settings → Account → Delete Account. Deletion removes or de-identifies account data from active systems, subject to limited backup, security, fraud-prevention, and legal retention. Deleting your account does not cancel an Apple subscription.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of your personal information, or object to certain processing. See our Data Controls page or contact hello@kokoro.cool. You may manage microphone permission in iOS Settings, revoke third-party AI processing permission under You → Privacy & Data, and manage subscriptions through your Apple Account.

Security, children, and changes

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no system is completely secure. Voice2Venture is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy as the service or law changes and will post the revised date here.
